Late to this thread, but I will provide our 2-cents.

With me in the 250lb. range, we purchased a split 4-layer, (3-inches in each layer) latex mattress from SleepEZ over 10-years ago.

For me, the layers were from top to bottom: 1) Medium Talalay; 2) Firm Dunlop; 3) Ex-Firm Dunlop and 4) Ex-Firm Dunlop. After 10-years, we moved from that Queen, to a new King. As was the Queen, the King was bought from SleepEZ with the configuration just specified.

After sleeping on the Queen for >10-years and moving to the new King, there was absolutely no difference felt or noticed. I couldn't tell (by feel) that I was sleeping on the new mattress and I have spinal stenosis and hip problems necessitating the use of crutches or walkers. I say this as an example of how well the Latex mattress held-up for over 10-years. Prior to our finding Latex, innerspring mattresses we owned, were showing signs of wear after a few years and needed replaced in 10-years. These were name brand mattresses with excellent reviews in Consumer Reports. For us Latex has been King (no pun).
