Hi mattresstx,

Post #2 here has a list of the better options in and around Houston that I'm aware of. You have some very good choices available to you in terms of quality and value in a wide range of different mattresses. I would spend some time on the phone first to discuss your needs and preferences with the different outlets and then visit the ones that you "connect" with and are the most promising based on your initial conversations.

Thanks Phoenix,

I found the stores your provided having wide variety of mattresses to choose from. One of my friend suggested me to go for Posturepedic signature by Sealy. he also recommend me to browse houston discount mattresses as this retailer providing pillow top for just 349$. I have selceted a Sealy. Do have any opinion about my choice ?

Hi Michael,

I've removed your links to your store and replaced them with just your store name and the brand name of the mattress you linked to.

But just to answer you post more generically ...

I personally don't recommend major brands because of their low quality or "unknown" foams as you can see from the guidelines here .

You can also see from post #2 here ... that I am also not comfortable buying from liquidation outlets because the risk that you are buying a used mattress is just too high.

Hi...your tips provided here are good for buying mattresses but I think you should try for foam mattresses. These are very comfortable and relaxing. I am sure you gonna love it. Just give it a try.

I totally agree with you phoenix. Before buying any mattress, one should go for proper investigation process about price and material and you can also save a big amount of money by just concerning 3 to 4 retailer before buying. So for the next time, definitely go for cross checking.

Hi mattressstx,

You seem to be part of a "group" of posters that is posting irrelevant and disconnected comments (such as this one which is agreeing with something that I didn't even say in this thread) in various threads. While I certainly welcome everyone's thoughts and opinions ... your comments need to be a little more connected to the topics you post in and not just "generic" advice with little meaning. This is particularly true when you are from a retail outlet that has tried to self promote your store on the forum and you are on the edge of "trolling" the forum.

I have switched all your posts to a single thread (and any replies I made to you as well) and in future I would appreciate it if you kept your posts to this thread unless they are directly connected to the topic at hand and not just generic and rather meaningless comments.
