Hello diynaturalbedding,

Thanks for your reply and informative post. I learn something new about latex from the trusted members every day I'm here.

Here are 3 pictures of the dips. The tape measure on the left side is so I measure in the same place. All three layers are 3" Dunlop. Pics are arranged from bottom to top. 34ILD, 26ILD (25-28) and 20ILD

Before we throw blame on the middle layer keep in mind that when I had the 34ILD and 20ILD config the top layer did the same thing. I did rotate the top layer when I added the 26ILD middle layer into the mix so it started out without a dip.

It almost looks like there is a bulge toward the front of the picture (that may be your finger. I assume you're looking toward the front or bottom of the mattress. It doesn't seem strange to me that you would have that small amount of "sinkage" after using the bed for a while, but I don't know if it's thought to be normal or not. Hope you get an answer!

Sorry about that. We are looking at the headboard. The dip is where my shoulder sits (side sleeper). In the lower pic of the top layer the dip is about 1/2". I'm also pretty sure when I assembled the bed I made sure to check each board and make sure if it was bent to aim the bend upwards to prevent any dips in the mattress. I probably should have pulled up the bottom layer and took a picture of the bed frame. It's just a lot of work doing all this stuff myself. There is also a shallower dip where my hips sit.
