Hey Phoenix!

First off I just wanted to say thank you for all of the time and commitment involved in answering peoples’ questions and trying to provide accurate and honest information for those like us! “Not all hero’s wear capes!”

I decided to take on a DIY mattress after reading through your site!

I have so fortunately came into a deal of SleeponLatex brand Dunlop foam in all 3 of their topper sizes and firmnesses.
I also bought a blended Talalay topper of about (17-21) firmness
And a viscosoft gel infused mattress topper.
I figured I can just start playing around every night and figure out what I like and don’t like.
I know one thing... I LOVE THE FEELING of SOFTNESS!! My dream mattress is something that feels like getting into a cloud...
My question to you is when it is concerning latex foam; can you have 4-6” of soft latex foam Above a firm core and still have enough support to maintain spinal alignment?

What are your views on this and I wonder what others feel about their beds and their spinal alignments.
I have been working in physical therapy practically my whole life after a nasty accident, and spinal alignment, proper support, pressure relief, contouring, effects, have recently become my new found interest!!
