Hi robb.

i will be ordering all latex mattresses for my children from buis mattress here in michigan using a prescription. the fire barrier is organic cotton and wool with no boron or silica, but apparently it won't pass federal testing because the latex fuel load is too high.

As you know from your previous purchase and posts on the forum ... Buis Mattress is one of the members here which means that I think very highly of them (and Marc the owner) and I believe that they compete well with the best in the industry in terms of their quality, value, service, knowledge, and transparency.

Congratulations on your new mattress once again :)

all convential mattresses are loaded with toxins and fire retardant chemicals ---organic mattresses with natural materials do not have the toxic chemicals, by using wool casing they do not need fire retardant chemicals which are dangerous to our health..

Hi barrysongpark250,

I'm not sure where you are getting your information from but your post certainly isn't factual or accurate and is misleading at best and is completely misinformed and deceptive at worst.

I have also deleted your other posts because they violate the "self promotional" rules of the forum .

While I certainly don't mind you posting on the forum ... you need to stay inside the rules of the forum and it would also be helpful if you could post more accurate and "educational" information that has some facts behind it rather than the type of "broad brush" opinions that are rarely if ever accurate, factual, or helpful.

There are certainly some valid reasons to choose organic components or mattresses for some people but claiming that every other mattress is loaded with dangerous or toxic chemicals that are dangerous to your health is just "fear mongering" at it's worst and does more harm to the reputation and integrity of the organic side of the industry than anything else.

I went with a prescription organic cotton mattress. There's a warning label on it that says it won't pass fire safety laws or something.

But zero reactions so far. No toxic chemical smells. no off gassing, and my eczema all over my legs caused by a previous "certipur" mattress has completely cleared.

No more light headed feeling, no numbness on the side of the head, and no more loud ear ringing. Just some of the side effects your body gives to tell you something ain't right.
