I received the 2 layers from Spindle as well as the 1 layer from KTT. I set them up last night when the old bed was removed. I have to commend Brooklyn Bedding on their utter professionalism and service throughout my return process with them. Everything went very smoothly, they were polite, I was in direct contact with Mario regarding the returns. The shipping company arrived a little early and i did not have the mattress wrapped in the two plastic mattress bag i had purchased for it yet, and they were more than happy to help me wrap it up (otherwise i was waiting for my roomate to come home). After they left, i contact Mario at BB, and he immediately refunded my purchase amount minus the 200 dollar fee, which was minimal considering i slept on the mattress for almost 90 days. Overall very good people to deal with and they do make a very good product, and their service is outstanding.

On to the new build, i set up the three layers i did have as 2 inch N2 over the Medium Dunlop over the Firm Dunlop. As I didnt have an encasement yet, I used a fitted sheet underneath the layers coming up the sides. I then put my fabritech omniguard protector on the top, and another fitted sheet. This seemed to make a decent makeshift encasement until mine arrives. I really didnt want the latex rubbing on the adjustable frame and the fitted sheet on the underside of the mattress appears to be working well for that until the encasement arrives.

I slept pretty well on that configuration last night and am really lookin forward to getting my last piece of this mattress which is a 2 inch memory foam 5lb from SelectFoam. Unforitnuately, i ordered this item on the 14th, and have still not recieved it nor has it shipped yet. I have emailed and called a few times and keep just being told that it will ship soon or they will check on it. Starting to get a little frustrating as they have charged me already, and their website says items should take 3 days to ship and 7-10 for delivery. I almost want to tell them to cancel the order if it take more than a few more days to ship, but i am concerned about the hassle i will have to get my refund at that point given the problems others have had on this forum. This morning i responded to their email saying they would chekc the status and get back to me and I asked if they would rush ship it (overnight/second day) as a courtesy when it eventually does ship and have received no response. Really hoping to get this thing soon, not sure why there would be such a delay as its just a memory foam topper and not a whole mattress.

Lastly, i had a great conversation with Sean from SleepEZ last night. Really helpful, friendly, and wanted to make sure all of my questions were being addressed whether i was speaking with him or one of his staff members. I pulled the trigger and ordered the 4 way stretch non quilted cover from him and am anxiously awaiting its delivery!

So big ups to BB on their outstanding service regarding the return, and lastly, the all latex on the adjustable frame is absolutely awesome!!! No gaps, no flopping up, just conforms to the bed perfect and feels great.

While there has been some other feedback that Select Foam orders are taking longer than they should ... just for the sake of clarity their target shipping time is 7 - 10 business days which would be about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks although they are past their stated timeframe of 3 business days to have the topper shipped out.

This morning i responded to their email saying they would chekc the status and get back to me and I asked if they would rush ship it (overnight/second day) as a courtesy when it eventually does ship and have received no response.

Again for the sake of fairness (and not to minimize the importance of timely communication which they sometimes lack) ... it would be a little early to have a response to an email that was only sent this morning.


I'm looking forward to your feedback once everything comes together and I hope you receive your memory foam topper very soon so we can find out how your design works for you .

I wanted to provide an updated on my DIY yourself build. I have now been sleeping on a completed DIY for about a week and i am absolutely loving it.

My layers are as follows from top to bottom:

2" of SelectFoam 5LB memory foam
2" of Latex International N2 foam (from Ktt enterprises)
3" of Spindles Continuous Pour Natural Medium Dunlop
3" of Spindles Continuous Pour Natural Firm Dunlop

All of this is encased in sleepez's 4 way non quilted stretch cover.

I have to say that so far my sleeping experience on this layering combination has been amazing. I thought of moving the memory foam under the top layer of latex but so far i have not done so, as i have been so happy with the current configuration. The sleepez cover is absolutely awesome!! I cant say enough good things about the cover. It fit everything perfect, they made a special ten inch version for me at no extra charge as well. The sides of the cover are firm and hold the mattress together well while the top is super soft and stretchy all over and does not affect the feel of the layers below at all. And to add to all this, it conforms to my adjustable frame seamlessly and feels amazing. It was a little difficult lining up the bottom layer in the cover prior to putting all the other layers on, but my GF and I were able to do this in about an hour. I really am happy with the setup as it is nice and soft for the first four inches and than firms up pretty quick providing the support and alignment i need. My girlfriend has taken pictures of me on many mattresses and configurations while laying down over the last six months during this shopping extragavanza trying to find a mattress, and I was amazed as was she that on my first DIY attempt it appears as of now to have come out perfect. My alignment on the new configuration was spot on, no upwards arch while on my side near my neck and shoulders due to not sinking in enough at the shoulders. I could not have done this without the valuable information and help received from this site. As a warning to any other DIY'ers out there, it seems i got this right on the first time around (at least as of now), but this was after 2 new mattresses in the last six months one of them having two layers of latex and having the chance to try things out and switch things around with different layers (through layer exchange) while i had that mattress. I based my decisions on what to purchbase on my experiences while i owned that mattress as well as the knowledge on this site. Thank you! Will update again in the coming weeks.

Just wanted to give an update. I have been sleeping wonderfully on this configuration and have not changed anything. No shoulder pain or neck pain or back pain and I sleep all night without waking up,most nights without changing positions. So far I love it!
