Does anyone have one or know of anyone who has had one? Do you/they like it? How is the quality and does it seem to be holding up.

Hi Tim_K

The "feel" of a mattress is very subjective and has nothing to do with quality. There are so many variables of body type, sleeping positions, and sensitivities and preferences that a mattress that feels great for one person can be completely unsuitable for the next. Only your own personal experience can tell you how a mattress will feel for you.

A mattress is also as good as the materials and components inside it which is what determines it's quality and durability. Besides testing a mattress for PPP (Pressure relief, Posture and alignment, and Personal preferences) ... it's just as important to know all the details of every layer in the mattress so that you can identify any weak links in the mattress and have a reasonable idea of its relative value and durability. Without this ... you would be making a completely blind purchase. The good news though is that in the conversations I have had with a few Steinhafels stores they have indicated they would call the factory and find out if they didn't know it so now would be a good time to find out if they really will. You can read more about the factors that are connected to the durability of a mattress in post #2 here .

If they do provide you with the information you need and you post the stats of the mattress you are interested in on the forum ... I'd be happy to provide some feedback on the materials and construction.
